Lossiemouth House

Lossiemouth House was built in 1779, during the reign of King George III. It was the first substantial house built in the town of Lossiemouth and was constructed as a dower for Lady Agnes Gordon of Gordonstoun (whose estates now form Gordonstoun School).

The house is set in its own picturesque grounds with private parking. We offer a pleasant and relaxed retreat for all ages in a friendly family atmosphere. En-suite facilities or rooms with wash basins are available, colour television, hospitality trays, and central heating. Guests have access throughout the day.

Breakfast is normally served from 8.00am to 9.00am, although other times can be arranged. We also cater for special diets.

Lossiemouth House is listed as a 3 star B&B by The Scottish Tourist Board, and a 3 diamond B&B by the Automobile Association.

The family run Skerry Brae is situated on the outskirts of Lossiemouth overlooking the fairway of the Old Moray Golf Course with spectacular views of the Moray Firth.

We have 19 ensuite bedrooms in total most with sea-views. Our rooms are comfortably furnished and our Annex rooms offer digital television and broadband internet access.


Home-made Bar Meals, Steaks, Seafood and Snacks are served each day from noon until late in our Lounge Bar, Conservatory, Dining Room or weather permitting the Beer Terrace.

Stotfield Hotel

This large Victorian building, purpose built as a hotel in 1895, has panoramic views overlooking the Moray Firth. The hotel's original Victorian features offer a warm and friendly atmosphere echoed by the comfortable lounge area. The Sea View Restaurant and Firth Lounge both enjoy stunning views and cater for all tastes and dietary requirements.
