Close encounters with dolphins!
In Lossie, North 58 Sea Adventures offer 2-hour wildlife tours along the coast on an exhilarating boat ride! Just along the coast, Spey Bay is home to the Scottish Dolphin Centre. Free entry to the exhibits and regular talks from experts. A cafe sells ice creams and coffees.

Family adventures with Outfit Moray
From climbing to coasteering, mountain biking to kayaking, Outfit Moray offers adventures for all ages. Their Shore Street site also offers bike hire (including e-bikes and adaptive bikes) as well as cycle maintenance.

Roseisle Forest
Between Burghead and Findhorn, Roseisle Forest Park has acres of woodland, picnic benches, barbecue pitches, a play park and miles of sandy beaches to explore. Toilets and coffee hut onsite. Paid parking. Detour to Woodend Farm Shop at Kinloss to see the chickens and cows, with a child-friendly cafe and farm shop.

Take to the water
Try your hand at paddleboarding or surfing, equipment hire and tuition is available all year round from New Wave Surf School and Aye Can paddleboarding. SurfABLE Scotland offers surfing for all abilities with specially adapted surfboards and a beach wheelchair.

Go Karting at Lhanbryde
Smart Kart Raceway and Adventure Centre offers karting, laser tag, axe throwing and more. All weather activities for ages 8 and above. Nearby, Threaplands Garden Centre has a coffee shop. In Elgin, Scribbles or 156 Bar & Grill are both teen-approved!

Byres Farm
Between Fochabers and Spey Bay, Byres Farm offers a fun and educational insight into life on a working farm. Feed the animals, play in the cart shed, follow the trails to the River Spey. Day tickets available and special events held. Self-serve coffee hut and honesty snacks.

Christies Play Garden
Christies of Fochabers is a large garden centre with a cafe and unique play garden in the grounds. For a small entry fee, children can go on the bouncy pillow, pedal the go karts and climb on the equipment. Award-winning ice cream shop in Fochabers village. Great fish & Chips too!

Magnificent turreted castle amazing springtime daffodil displays. A nominal parking fee gets you access to the gardens and woodland play park. Additional price to enter the castle or the imaginative Playful Garden. Cafe onsite. Nearby, Brodie Country Fayre offers shopping and a family restaurant.

Getting Here
Lossiemouth is on the Moray coast, approximately 40 miles east of Inverness and 70 miles northwest of Aberdeen. The A96 is the main road between these two cities.
Travelling by bus or train, head to Elgin for a connecting bus service to Lossiemouth.
