SHOPPING IN LOSSIEMOUTH

The small, local businesses here are the heart and soul of Lossiemouth. They’ll keep you fuelled, entertained and have you smiling for your entire trip.

Shown on the map below, the main shopping areas are Queen Street, Marina Quay and Clifton Road (also known as the Esplanade). There are ice-cream shops, independent boutiques, cafes and restaurants all waiting for you to arrive.

Please download or pick up a Fine Day Out leaflet for more information.

queen street

Queen Street is the main commercial thoroughfare of Lossiemouth. With a butchers, a bakers, a post office and a Co-op, you can pick up anything you need for your adventure or quiet night in. Stop by the deli for fresh fish and seafood.

The Re:Store is Lossiemouth’s zero-waste shop, fill your own containers with loose goods, find fresh local produce including milk and eggs as well as eco-friendly household goods.

marina quay

Shop, dine and unwind at Marina Quay.

Enjoy browsing the small, independent boutiques before visiting Harbour Lights for delicious, casual dining or go for a pint at the Brander Arms, a traditional pub near the Marina office.

Before you leave, take a stroll around the marina, see the shellfish boats unloading, or the modern yachts coming and going. Look over the wall, perhaps you’ll spot dolphins!

THE ESPLANADE

The landscaped stretch of Clifton Road which overlooks the East Beach is known as the Esplanade.

Across from the Esplanade is a row of independent shops and cafes.

Have a browse in the Unique, a ladieswear and gift shop, then treat yourself to a delicious ice-cream, take a seat and enjoy the stunning view of East Beach across the river.
