Play Parks

The main play parks are marked on the map below.

Visit Station Park, built on the site of the old railway station by the harbour. There’s a playpark here for the kids and landscaped gardens featuring many of the original sleepers from the railway.

There’s a good playpark at the playing fields, and another at the western end of Commerce Street with a great view over the sea.

Marine Park has plenty of space to run about and often hosts family fun days, although there’s no formal play equipment.

Woodland Walks

Explore the beauty of the pinewoods, easily accessible from town.

Climb trees and build dens from fallen branches. Look out for red squirrels high in the trees and listen for woodpeckers and other woodland birds. How many can you identify?

Follow one of the woodland paths, perfect for bikes and off-road buggies. Connect to nature and tune into the rhythm of Lossiemouth.
